Description 7-Deacetyl Forskolin is a derivative of the labdane diterpene forskolin with great impact on cellular processes governed by cyclic adenosine monophosphate. The basic mechanism of action of 7-deacetyl forskolin is the activation of adenelyly cyclase, which increases (cAMP) in cells. The activation potential on adenlyly cyclise of 7-deacetyl forskolin is about 34-88 % of forskolin depending on the matrix conditions in vitro.
